Everest Expands Sports Programming with Big Ten Network Launch
and Live Thursday & Saturday Night Football Telecasts on NFL Network

Everest announced that it has reached an agreement with Big Ten Network to carry Big Ten Conference television programming starting December 14, 2007. This gives Everest customers access to 400 live events, as well as original programming produced by the network and by the conference’s 11 member institutions.

This season, Big Ten Network has offered 41 football games, including a contest between then-top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin. Additionally, the network will televise more than 140 regular season men’s basketball games, more than 55 women’s basketball games, Big Ten Championships, more than 170 NCAA championship sporting events, coaches’ shows, a nightly studio show and more than 600 hours of campus programming showcasing activities and accomplishments of some of the nation’s finest universities.Big Ten Network will be carried on Everest’s Digital Tier channel 438.

Everest will also carry all eight of NFL Network’s Thursday and Saturday Night Football regular season games live beginning Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 22. Everest is currently the only cable provider to deliver NFL Network and its regular season games to Shawnee, Lenexa, Overland Park and the Brookside, Waldo and Red Bridge areas of Kansas City. NFL Network is available on Everest’s Digital Tier channel 439.
