New Caller ID on TV Service Deployed

(Lenexa, KS.) – Everest is launching a new service to subscribers in April – Caller ID on TV. Currently, Everest is the only cable provider in Kansas City to offer this patented service. Caller ID on TV automatically displays a caller's name and phone number on a customer's TV a few seconds before their phone rings.

The Caller ID on TV service also includes a Call History via a customer's TV remote control, so they can view a list of incoming calls including the caller's name, number and time and date of the call. Additionally, customers can customize the TV Caller ID display information and control the duration on their TV screen.

"Everest is very excited to be one of the first cable companies in the country to launch Caller ID on TV," stated Ken Johnson, chief technology officer for Everest. "This innovative product will be provided at no additional charge to Everest customers who already have our digital cable and phone service with caller ID. We plan to begin rolling out this service in early April and activate service for all customers by the end of April. We have also scheduled a number of other exciting new products we will introduce this year to solidify Everest's position as the technological leader in this market."
